???Accessibility_statement_paragraph2???

This website is run by HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We've also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

What we're doing to improve accessibility

Our previous independent audit was carried out using WCAG 2.0 standards. Since then, we have carried out internal accessibility tests to WCAG 2.1 standards and plan to integrate automated accessibility testing (PALLY and similar testing) into our code releases. We will be commissioning an external accessibility audit against WCAG 2.1 before its next review in spring 2023.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on April 2019. It was last reviewed on 26 May 2022.

This website was last tested against WCAG 2.1 on 7 April 2022. The test was carried out by our internal development team. We tested all pages and journeys for the service.

The service was previously audited against WCAG 2.0 externally by the Digital Accessibility Centre (DAC) in February and May 2018.
